Media & Technology

Using media to spread the truth of Jesus Christ is a privilege of Elizabeth Church. In today’s world, skillful use of technology can help people connect with God and with other people in powerful ways. Our Media & Technology teams provide technical support for our worship services and for a variety of other ministry activities utilizing skills in sound, lighting, video editing, photography, etc.   All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats, and will be in video formats too in the near future. We produce DVD’s of our morning services upon request.  We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

GriefShare is a nondenominational grief recovery support group that features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.  When losing a spouse, child, family member or friend to death, it can be hard to feel optimistic about the future.  Many people feel alone in their pain and grief.  That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.  This group is sponsored by people who understand grief and the feelings of loss and want to offer comfort and encouragement to others in their difficult time.

GriefShare meets once a week for 13 weeks.  Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion.  A GriefShare workbook assists group members with note-taking, journaling, and grief study.  The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief, and real-life stories of people who have experienced loss.  During the small group discussion time, group members have the opportunity to interact with each other, learn from others experiences, and share their own.

Each session is “self-contained” so it is not required to attend in sequence and people may join the group at any time.

GriefShare meets at EBC on Sundays at 4:00 pm in Room 202 of the Adult Education Building.  Call the church office at 704.482.6339 to find out more information.
