Mission Statement: Unleashing single-minded, Christ-centered, biblically-anchored, world-changers.  Deuteronomy 6:4-9

The students at EBC are referred to as The C.R.E.W., and that acronym stands for “Created to Reach the Entire World.”  It is meant to carry with it a subtle military connotation, from the name itself to the “stencil” font that is used to produce it. The idea is to keep before our students the fact that we are all involved in an ongoing spiritual battle…an invisible war for our souls. Red is the color that often symbolizes sacrifice, and it is used in conjunction with this logo to reflect the sacrificial blood of Christ. This name is also a reminder of our commitment to “The Great Commission” and our mandate to “reach the entire world” for Christ. The students conduct almost all of their meetings in the newly renovated student center called The C.R.E.W. Quarters.

The Student Ministry itself is divided into seventeen different ministries that are tailored to the ministry needs of our students and their unique gifts.  These ministries are collectively referred to as the C.R.E.W. Ministries.

Specifically, they are:

FUELEngaging students with God’s Word and challenging them to examine their own faith. Meets in The C.R.E.W. Quarters, Sundays at 9:45 – Breakfast at 9:30

The Guys Sunday @ 6:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M.

The Guys is the mission organization for young men. They plan events like workdays and mission projects and talk about what it means to be a Godly young man in today’s culture.  They also sponsor a basketball team, conduct mission trips, camp, fish, hike and generally do “guy stuff”. They meet in the Harvest Food Bank room.

The GEMS Sunday @ 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M

The GEMS (Girls Embracing Mission Service) plan events like workdays and fundraisers and talk about what it means to be a Godly young woman in today’s culture.  They also conduct mission projects, often in conjunction with The Guys, and are really the mirror image of that organization, except they are oriented to the interest and needs of girls. They meet each Sunday night in the GEMS room.
