God's love is not based on performance, feelings, or worthiness. It is a covenantal love rooted in His character and sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Even when we were spiritually dead in our sin, He made us alive through Christ and secured our place with Him forever. Romans 8 makes this breathtakingly clear, opening with no condemnation and closing with no separation. Nothing in heaven, on earth, or within ourselves can cut us off from His love. God does not merely tolerate us. He pursues us, chooses us, and loves us with the same love He has for His own Son. That truth is not just comforting. It is transforming.
