Foundations of Faith

Faith is not the absence of doubt. It is the decision to trust God anyway. Hebrews 11 shows us that genuine faith is a confident trust placed in an unseen God who has made Himself known through His Word and through Jesus Christ. The heroes of faith, including Abel, Enoch, Noah, and Abraham, did not have all the answers. They simply trusted a God who was faithful to every promise He made. True faith also requires obedience, and the struggle to obey God's Word is itself a powerful witness to the Gospel. God rewards those who diligently seek Him, and that promise is worth taking seriously. He is the same faithful God today.
